SSIM is a community-based organisation in Mathare, Nairobi, established by community members and youth who came together in 2024 following the demolitions and displacement experienced within the settlement
We believe that communities are best placed to identify their challenges and develop practical solutions that improve quality of life — promoting resilience, dignity, and sustainable development.
