CHRISTINE ATIENO

Christine is a dedicated Program Manager for the Jijue Programme, a community-based initiative focused on empowering adolescents in Mathare through drug abuse prevention, life skills development, and community healing. She has a background in Tourism Management and over three years of experience working with Hope Worldwide Kenya on family planning and HIV/AIDS programs.
In her current role, she leads youth engagement activities, facilitates safe-space conversations, and supports community-driven interventions that address substance abuse and its underlying social challenges. Christine is passionate about working at the grassroots level to equip young people with knowledge, confidence, and practical skills to make informed life choices and build healthier futures.
